Places like the Caja Del Rio must be protected and shared by all

Visiting the Caja Del Rio area in Santa Fe County was special in that I got to experience a place near to home that tells a story of a rich cultural history by those who came before us.

The symbols and images on these canyon walls tell an ancient story of life in the area.  Images of plants and animals and the story of coexistence between man and the natural world is something to be protected for present and future generations.

Experiencing places like the Caja Del Rio transports us to another place and time and allows us to imagine what life may have been like thousands of years ago.  There is a sense of harmony and cooperation depicted on these panels.  Places like the Caja Del Rio must be protected and shared by all.

There are lessons of history, horticulture, and sharing information and if we pay attention to these teachings, it may just make our lives and the lives of those yet unborn richer.
