Nosebleeds, Respiratory Ailments in Children Prove Possible Link To Nearby Oil Production

After children in a Southside community Los Angeles reported an unusual pattern of nosebleeds and respiratory ailments, community residents soon discovered a nearby operation of oil production hidden behind a 12 foot wall. The energy company has pumped up production by 400 percent since 2009 causing the increased efforts to mask the nearby neighborhoods in a heavy stench of gas.

Hundreds of protests have been filed and citations have been issued but there is still no indication of a closure of this eminently dangerous operation.
